We agree on the scope with you before move-out day, and we can work from your landlord’s checklist if you have one. Common tasks include:

• Washrooms cleaned and disinfected top to bottom
• Kitchenettes and break rooms cleaned, including sinks, counters, cabinet fronts and appliance exteriors
• Empty rooms dusted, including ledges, baseboards and door frames
• Marks and fingerprints wiped from doors, switches and handles where they can be cleaned
• Floors swept, vacuumed and mopped throughout
• Remaining garbage and recycling from the clean removed

Timing your move-out clean

The best time for a lease-end clean is after your furniture and equipment are gone and before the walkthrough. Book early if you can, especially at month-end when many leases turn over. Let us know your walkthrough date and we will plan backwards from it.

What’s outside our scope

We stick to what we do well. Our lease-end service doesn’t include post-construction or renovation cleanup, window washing, carpet shampooing, floor stripping or waxing, junk removal or repairs. If your lease requires any of those, plan to book a specialist for that part.

Have furniture, equipment and stored items removed, and let us know about anything staying behind for the next tenant. Make sure water and power are still on for the clean, and tell us how we’ll get access to the unit.
